Description

Upright, orbicular shells with elongate, slender auricles, of which posterior is only slightly longer than anterior, costae coarse, not increasing in number during later ontogeny, crossed on LV, rarely on RV by regular imbricating growth lamellae which are extended peripherally between costae in short spines
