Ovoid small shells somewhat reduced anteriorly, posterior carina obscure or lacking, umbones situated less than 0.3 back of anterior margin, ornamented with radial costellae and concentric growth lines, ligament area narrow, teeth short, oblique, converging toward point below beaks, divided into anterior and posterior series of slightly longer teeth separated by an elongate edentulous gap
