Description
Characters of family = Shell small, Pteria-like, known only by LV; posterior wing obtuse, no anterior auricle, anterodorsal angle rounded off, with external narrow ligamental area containing 2 ligamental pits, one below beak, other well posterior to it; spoonlike structure also present, possibly a chondrophore, projecting into shell cavity just in front of beak; elongate lateral tooth on posterior wing; adductor muscle scars and pallial line not observed.
