Description
Resembling Pholadomya (Pholadomya) in shape except that in some species umbones are less prominent, without radial ribbing, unless in earliest stages of growth; hinge margin smooth, uninerrupted; pallial sinus deep. [The commoner Muschelkalk species which have been referred to this genus seem better included in Pachymya (Arcomya}]
