Club-shaped, gibbous, with narrow, elevated, strongly opisthogyrous umbones, marginal and escutcheon carinae ill-defined except near umbo, area very narrow, smooth or transversely ridged, strongly curved, with upward-facing concavity, escutcheon wide, well impressed near umbo, with transverse costellae, flank with steep, oblique, simple or tuberculate costae, internal radial ridge coinciding approximately with middle of area
